SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS, EXPERIENCES:
Investigations of tethered lipid membranes on the surface and their interactions with peptides and pore forming toxins by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), fluorescence correlation spectroscopy (FCS); Studies of morphology, conformation and toxicity of β-amyloid oligomers as a key molecular components in Alzheimer disease, using atomic force microscopy (AFM), dynamic light scattering (DLS), circular dichroism (CD) and sum frequency generation (SFG). Extraction of nerve from earthworm. Measurments of heat production in nerves during action potential.
